Founded in 2013, Centre for Education and Guidance Trust (CEGT) celebrates over 14 years of transforming lives by improving education around the world this year. Over the years, the organization’s work has changed along with our people and leadership, but what has stayed the same is our commitment to raising standards in education, our investment in education from revolutionizing the old system of education research today, our charitable status, and our strong social purpose.

Centre for Education and Guidance Trust is committed to the Government’s vision to improve access to primary education for Muslim children, especially for young girls. This organization currently operates successfully in over villages in Magura & Dalilpur, Malda. By leveraging the Government’s existing investment in schools and by engaging with a huge base of community volunteers, Centre for Education and Guidance Trust helps to identify, enroll and retain out-of-school children and to improve foundational skills in literacy and numeracy for all children (both girls and boys). This helps deliver measurable results to a large number of children and avoids the parallel delivery of services.
